Louis Oosthuizen set to miss Tokyo 2020

US Open runner-up Louis Oosthuizen has confirmed that he won't be representing South Africa at the upcoming Olympics in Tokyo.

Oosthuizen took to social media saying that the decision was very difficult to make and although he would have been honoured to represent South Africa, he was going to focus on the rest of the golf season in the United States as well as honouring family commitments.

Oosthuizen said.

The Olympics get underway on Friday, 23 July with the golf tournament starting on 29 July and running till 1 August.
