5.2-magnitude quake hits Ryukyu Islands, Japan -- GFZ

BEIJING, Feb. 28 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 jolted Ryukyu Islands, Japan at 1448 GMT on Friday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 25.27 degrees north latitude and 125.03 degrees east longitude.
